200 students receive NDDC scholarships for post-graduate studies abroad
The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) awarded scholarships to 200 students from the Niger Delta for master's and doctorate degrees abroad.
The scholarships were presented by NDDC Chairperson Chiedu Ebie during a ceremony in Port Harcourt.
This initiative is part of NDDC's efforts to enhance human capital development in the region.
Managing Director Samuel Ogbuku confirmed that the commission would cover tuition and accommodation costs.
Out of 56,000 applicants, only 200 were selected through a rigorous process.
The top candidate, Azuka Chinedu, expressed gratitude to the NDDC and pledged to contribute to the region's development upon their return.
