AFUED Council Appoints Bursar, Librarian, And Two Directors

The Governing Council of Adeyemi Federal University of Education (AFUED), Ondo has approved the appointment of a new Bursar, University Librarian, and two Directors.
These appointments officially take effect from 13th August, 2025.
New Appointees:
- Mrs. Taiwo Olufunmilayo Adedoyin – Bursar
- Dr. Azino Oscarand Akpokurerie – University Librarian
- Engr. Kehinde Folorunsho Akintade – Director of Physical Planning, Works and Services
- Dr. Ibukun-Ola Eddison Johnson – Director of Health Services
Brief Profiles:
Mrs. Taiwo Olufunmilayo Adedoyin (Bursar)
- Born on 14th June, 1973 in Ondo State.
- Studied Accounting at Ekiti State University (B.Sc ., 1997) and later obtained an MBA at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
- Started her career at AFUED in 1999 and became Deputy Bursar in 2015 before her present elevation.
- Member of ANAN (FCNA) and NIM (Chartered), with training experiences both within and outside Nigeria.
Dr. Azino Oscarand Akpokurerie (University Librarian)
- Holds B.Sc.Ed , Master’s, and Ph.D . in Library and Information Science from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
- Has worked in several Nigerian institutions for over two decades.
- Served as College Librarian and Acting University Librarian at AFUED before this new role.
- Author of more than 80 academic works.
Engr. Kehinde Folorunsho Akintade (Director, Physical Planning, Works and Services)
- Studied Civil Engineering at FUTA and later earned a Master’s degree in Environmental Management from UNAD.
- Joined AFUED in 1999 as Engineer II, eventually rising to Chief Engineer and Deputy Director.
- Registered with COREN and active in professional bodies including NSE and ICE.
Dr. Ibukun-Ola Eddison Johnson (Director, Health Services)
- Graduated in Medicine (MBBS) from the University of Benin in 1999 and obtained a Master’s in Public Health from OAU in 2022.
- Joined AFUED in 2007 as a Medical Officer and rose to Principal Medical Officer.
- Has served in several university committees and was Director of Health Services at Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji (2024–2025).
The University congratulates the newly appointed officials and wishes them a successful tenure.
