The AI-Cybersecurity Essay Prize Competition 2025, organized by the Munich Security Conference and Binding Hook, is now open for applications. Purpose of the Competition
The goal is to enhance understanding of AI's influence on cybersecurity. Participants are encouraged to analyze AI's role in shaping modern cyber defences, including the opportunities and challenges it presents. Essays should also discuss how these developments impact European security and policymaking.

Essay Question
Participants are tasked to address:
How will Artificial Intelligence change cybersecurity, and what are the implications for Europe? Discuss potential strategies that policymakers can adopt to navigate these changes.

Awards
The competition offers monetary prizes and international recognition:
- 1st Place: €10,000.
- Runner-Up: €5,000.
- 3rd Place: €2,500.
- 4th and 5th Places: €1,000 each.

The 1st place winner will also attend the 2025 Munich Security Conference from 13 to 16 February, where they will be honoured at the award ceremony. This provides a unique opportunity to engage with global leaders and present insights on AI's role in cybersecurity.

Eligibility
The competition is open to individuals worldwide specializing in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. Key requirements include:
