Al-Ansar University, Maiduguri announces an Automatic Scholarship Scheme for part payment of tuition fees to support self-sponsored candidates seeking undergraduate admission for the 2025/2026 academic session. This initiative, approved by the Founder and President of Al-Ansar Foundation, Dr. Mohammed Kyari Dikwa, mni, aims to make quality education more accessible.
Eligibility:
- UTME candidates
- Direct Entry candidates
- Transfer students from recognized universities
Requirements:
UTME Candidates:
- Minimum UTME score of 150
- Correct UTME subject combination
- Five (5) O’Level credit passes including English and Mathematics
Direct Entry Candidates:
- Acceptable qualifications (NCE, ND, IJMB, etc.)
- Five (5) O’Level credit passes including English and Mathematics
Transfer Candidates:
- Admission processed through JAMB from 2022 onwards
- Submission of original transcript directly to Al-Ansar University
- Must meet academic and departmental requirements
Programmes Covered:
- College of Arts, Social and Management Sciences
- College of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences (excluding MBBS)
- College of Science, Information and Communication Technology

1. Visit: www.aum.edu.ng
2. Fill out the online admission form
3. Upload required documents
Important Notes on the Scholarship:
- Applies only to new students
- Does not cover the MBBS programme
- Returning students are not eligible except for approved transfers
Important Notes on Admission Procedure:
- Candidates must upload results via a JAMB-approved CBT Centre
- Admissions will not be processed unless results are visible on CAPS
- Admission offers must be accepted within four (4) weeks on the JAMB Portal
- Final deadline for 2025/2026 admission into private universities is November 2025, as stipulated by JAMB
