Apply For 2025 NNPC/OERNL Joint Venture Tertiary Scholarship Scheme

Applications are open for the 2025/2026 NNPC/OERNL Joint Venture Tertiary Scholarship Scheme.
This programme supports full-time undergraduates in Nigeria.
There are two award types:
- Host/Transit Communities Merit Award – For those from OANDO host or transit areas.
- National Merit Award – For those from other parts of the country.
Meet the Right Conditions
Only 100-level full-time students in Nigerian higher schools can apply.
You must meet both requirements:
- Must study full-time in a Nigerian tertiary school.
- Must be in 100 level at the time of application.
Do Not Apply If You Are Not Eligible
Do not submit an application if:
- You are in 200 level or higher.
- You already benefit from a similar scholarship.
- You are related to or under the care of OANDO staff.
Know the Right Award to Choose
Pick the right type based on your course and where you come from:
- Host/Transit Merit Award: Only for indigenes from host or transit areas in Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta, and Imo States.
- National Merit Award: Only for students in Engineering, Geology, Geosciences, or Agricultural Sciences.
Prepare All Documents
Upload clear scanned copies of the following:
- A passport photo with white background (taken in the last six months, 450px by 450px, under 200kb).
- School ID card.
- O’level result.
- Admission letter.
- Birth certificate.
- Proof of Local Government Area of Origin.
- For Host/Transit applicants only:
- Letter from community paramount ruler.
- Letter from CDC chairman.
- JAMB result.
Use correct file names and upload each file where required. Use an active email and phone number for updates.

Submit your application via the NNPC/OERNL Scholarship 2025 portal. Follow all instructions carefully.
