Want to teach French, German, or Spanish in England? The British Council is offering £28,000 in funding and training support for aspiring language teachers.
Who Can Apply?
You’re eligible if you:
- Have or expect a 2:1 degree (or equivalent), or
- Hold a Master’s or PhD in a relevant subject
You may also apply with a 2:2 if you demonstrate strong language skills or relevant experience.
Additional requirements:
- You must secure a place on a non-salaried languages teacher training programme in England.
- Your course must begin in the 2025–2026 academic year.
- You must be accepted by September 2025.
What the Scholarship Includes
- £28,000 funding
- Teacher training and development support
- Ongoing mentoring from the British Council
