Bowen University Teaching Hospital (BUTH), Ogbomoso, invites applications for several positions. These opportunities provide a chance to pursue a rewarding career in healthcare.
Available Positions:
The following positions are open for applications:
1. Medical Officer
2. Consultant, Haematology and Blood Transfusion
3. Consultant, Chemical Pathology and Immunology
4. Consultant, Medical Microbiology and Parasitology
5. Dental Therapist
Qualifications:
Positions 1 – 4:
- MB.BS degree, registrable with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Evidence of full registration with the MDCN.
- Proof of NYSC programme completion or exemption.
- Current practising licence.
- Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or the West African College of Physicians/Surgery.
Position 5 (Dental Therapist):
- At least five credits in WASSC or NECO at not more than two sittings.
- Degree or HND in Dental Therapy from a recognised institution, registrable with the Dental Therapy Registration Board of Nigeria (DTRBN).
Application Process:
Follow these steps to apply:
1. Pay a non-refundable fee of N7,000 at the Cashier’s Counter at Bowen University Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso.
2. Obtain the application form from the Human Resources Division.
3. Submit ten copies of the completed form with photocopies of credentials.
4. Provide three reference letters, including one from your Pastor and at least one from your training institution.
Reference Letter Requirements:
- Reference letters must not be from relatives.
- Letters must be typed on official letterhead, appropriately dated, and signed.
Deadline:
The closing date for all applications is 30 January 2025.
