The Council of Legal Education (CLE) has accredited Caleb University’s Law programme, increasing its admission quota from 50 to 110 for the 2024/2025 academic session.
The CLE’s decision was conveyed in a letter signed by Ms. A. O. Osho, Secretary to the Council and Director of Administration. The accreditation followed a panel visit to Caleb University’s College of Law, City Campus, Magodo, on 10 and 11 October 2024.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Nosa Owens-Ibie, expressed delight over the accreditation. He credited the achievement to the contributions of young legal minds, experienced scholars, Senior Advocates of Nigeria, and a collaboration with the Lagos State Judiciary to enhance the programme’s quality.
The CLE attributed the quota increase to Caleb University’s commitment to consistent investments and adherence to standards. This development highlights the university’s dedication to providing quality legal education.
With the raised admission quota, more students can now pursue their dreams of studying law at Caleb University. The programme is expected to attract a broader pool of learners while maintaining its reputation for excellence in legal education.
