The university invites candidates who chose DOU as their first choice and scored 160 and above in the 2025/2026 UTME. Direct-Entry (DE) applicants and those who didn’t initially select DOU may equally apply by changing their institution choice.

- UTME Candidates: Must have 5 credit passes including English and Mathematics in not more than two sittings (WAEC/NECO or equivalent).
- DE Candidates:
• OND/HND holders require at least Lower Credit
• NCE holders require Merit grades
• JUPEB/IJMB candidates require at least 4 points in two relevant subjects
