ESUT Post-UTME/DE 2025: Cut-off Mark, Eligibility And Registration Details

This is to inform all candidates who chose Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) in the 2025 UTME and those who did not choose ESUT but now wish to apply that there will be online screening of candidates for admission. Candidates who now wish to change to ESUT should first apply to JAMB for change of institution.
Cut-off Marks by Course:
i. Medicine and Surgery, Nursing Sciences, Law - 240
ii. Pharmacy - 220
iii. Medical Lab Sciences, Medical Radiography, Computer Science - 200
iv. Anatomy, Public Health, Civil Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Accountancy, Business Administration, Mass Communication, Political Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology - 180
v. Faculties of Agriculture, Education, Environmental Sciences and other courses - 160
Screening Information:
- The screening is online. No physical screening or aptitude test required.
- Processing fee: ₦2,000.00 only
- Candidates will be notified of their admission status through text messages/ESUT portal.
Registration Timeline:
- Start Date: Tuesday, 29th July 2025
- End Date: Sunday, 31st August 2025
How to Apply:
1. Visit https://portal.esut.edu.ng
2. Under “Regular Students,” click “2025/2026 Admission Screening Registration”
3. Enter your UTME Registration Number and click
4. Enter your email and phone number and click “Proceed”
5. Choose your payment method:
a) Online with ATM card
b) Bank payment via eTranzact (print and use the pin/receipt)
6. Return to portal and click on “Continue Registration”
7. Enter UTME Registration Number again
8. Input your O’Level results
9. Confirm and submit your application
10. Print acknowledgement slip
Important Notes:
- Candidates awaiting 2025 WAEC/NECO/NABTEB results can apply, but results released after 30th September 2025 will not be accepted.
- Ensure all personal details are consistent across documents.
- All candidates must upload their O’Level results to JAMB.
- False information may lead to disqualification.
For Direct Entry Candidates:
All Direct Entry candidates who chose ESUT are to be screened online. They must upload A-Level results and relevant documents. Transcripts must be sent to the Registrar and Admissions Office.
