To qualify for the Ekiti State Government Scholarship Award, applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Be in their second year or above in their course of study.
- Possess a WASSCE/NECO certificate with at least five credits, including English Language and Mathematics, in one sitting.
- Maintain a minimum CGPA of 4.0 for university students or its equivalent, 3.50 for polytechnic students, and 3.50 for NCE students.
- Master’s Degree and Ph.D . candidates must have a Second Class Upper Division at the undergraduate level. Ph.D . applicants must have a distinction in their Master’s Degree. A letter of recommendation from the Head of Department is required.
- Physically challenged students in universities, polytechnics, colleges of education, and schools of nursing/midwifery are eligible for the Handicapped Scholarship Award.
- Part-time and Sandwich students are not eligible for this award.
All students in undergraduate programmes, polytechnics, colleges of education, and health institutions are eligible for the Ekiti State Government Bursary Award.
