Igbinedion University Appoints Mr. Ahola Orgeh As New Registrar

Igbinedion University, Nigeria’s first private university, has appointed Mr. Ahola Orgeh as its new Registrar.
His appointment takes effect from July 1, 2025, following the completion of Mr. Friday Benji Bakare’s tenure.
About Mr. Ahola Orgeh
Mr. Orgeh is a seasoned administrator with over 20 years of experience in university management.
He holds a Sociology degree from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and a Master’s in Industrial and Labour Relations from the University of Ibadan.

- Fellow, Institute of Corporate Administration of Nigeria (FCAI)
- Member, Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators (ANUPA)
- Member, Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM)
- Member, Chartered Institute of Administration (CIA)
Previous Roles
Mr. Orgeh has held top administrative positions in:
- University of Agriculture, Makurdi
- Federal University of Technology, Akure
- Benue State University, Makurdi
He also previously served at Igbinedion University in a senior Registry role, making this a return to familiar ground.

Mr. Orgeh, from Adim-Akp, Otukpo LGA, Benue State, will officially assume duties on Tuesday, 1st July, 2025.
