JAMB has announced the most preferred universities for the 2025 admissions cycle. During the 2025 policy meeting held in Abuja, the JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, revealed the top universities with the highest number of applicants.

6. University of Ibadan (UI): 47,571
7. University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN): 46,273
8. University of Benin (UNIBEN): 45,868
9. Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU): 45,777
