JAMB CAPS For 2025/2026 Admission - Monitor And Confirm Your Admission Status

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has activated the CAPS Portal for the 2025/2026 admission exercise.
Candidates can now monitor their admission status and know when they have been offered admission. Once offered admission on CAPS, you must either ACCEPT or REJECT it.
Why CAPS is Important
- Some schools may not publish admission lists on their websites or notice boards.
- The only way to confirm admission in such cases is through JAMB CAPS.
How to Check Admission Status on JAMB CAPS
- Visit: Click here to login with your registered email and password.
- Click on Check Admission Status.
- Select Access my CAPS.
- Click on Admission Status to view if you have been offered admission.
Next Steps After Admission
- If admitted, accept or reject the offer via SMS: send ACCEPT or REJECT to 55019 or 66019 using your registered phone number.
- Candidates have 4 weeks to accept the admission before it is withdrawn.
- Print your admission letter immediately after accepting, as it will be required for clearance and registration.
Important Note
- If you are using a mobile phone and cannot see the CAPS options, switch to desktop mode on your browser (Google Chrome is recommended).
- Only then will you see the full CAPS page and admission status.
