JAMB Reschedules 2025 UTME For 379,997 Candidates

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that 379,997 candidates will retake the 2025 UTME following technical issues and human errors during the initial exams. The announcement was made by JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, during a press briefing in Abuja.
Key Details:
- Out of the affected candidates, 206,610 are in Lagos State and 173,387 in the Southeast (Imo, Abia, Ebonyi, Enugu, and Anambra).
- Affected candidates will start receiving SMS notifications from Thursday, 15th May 2025.
- The rescheduled exams will begin on Friday, 16th May 2025.
- Candidates are expected to reprint their exam slips for their new dates and venues.
Prof. Oloyede expressed regret over the disruptions, citing a mix of human and technical challenges. He assured that all affected candidates would be duly informed and properly accommodated.
