The Lagos State Science Research and Innovation Council (LASRIC) invites innovators and startups to participate in its 2025 Innovation Challenge. Participants in the LASRIC Innovation Challenge will gain access to funding for developing their ideas, support for scaling their solutions into viable, long-term projects, and opportunities to represent Lagos State as LASRIC ambassadors on prestigious global platforms.
Interested applicants must be Nigerian citizens aged 18 or above, provide valid identification such as a LASSRA Card, and operate a registered business based in Lagos State. Applicants must also possess a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) with active users, submit proof of payment of Personal Income Tax in Lagos State, and ensure their solutions align with LASRIC’s vision. Additional requirements include disclosing any criminal history and ensuring no outstanding debts to Lagos State Government initiatives, such as LSETF loans.
