The Lagos State Science Research and Innovation Council (LASRIC) invites innovators and educators to participate in the 2025 STEM Challenge. This initiative aims to advance STEM education at all levels, from primary schools to tertiary institutions, by fostering innovative, fund-ready solutions.

Focus Areas for the Challenge


Participants are encouraged to develop and submit solutions in the following focus areas:

- FutureTech
- AI and Robotics
- GreenTech
- Inclusivity Tech
- EdTech and General Tech Skills
- Capacity Building

The objective is to generate impactful ideas that enhance education, drive sustainability, and create value in STEM fields.

Eligibility Criteria


To qualify for the LASRIC STEM Challenge, applicants must:

- Present a valid means of identification.
- Own a startup registered and operational in Lagos State.
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Submit an original product, tool, solution, or technique.
- Have a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) with proven impact on verifiable beneficiaries.
- Not owe the Lagos State Government for loans or support funds, such as LSETF.

Application Information


LASRIC is particularly interested in scalable initiatives offering significant value and innovation. Successful projects may be considered for equity investment by LASRIC.
