LASU Indigeneship Verification Exercise For 2025/2026 Post UTME

Lagos State University (LASU) has opened registration for its 2025/2026 Indigeneship Verification Exercise. This applies only to Lagos State indigenes who selected LASU as their first choice in UTME and scored 195 or above.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible:
- You must be from Lagos State
- You must have selected LASU as your first choice in the 2025 UTME
- You must have scored 195 or higher
- Direct Entry candidates can also apply
Candidates who previously applied in 2023/2024 or 2024/2025 but didn’t gain admission can revalidate their clearance by logging in and paying the required fee.
Application Process
- Visit the LASU Indigeneship Portal https://lasu.edu.ng/iive/
- Make payment online via the official LASU account (only through the portal link)
- Wait to be scheduled for your interview at an assigned centre
Important Warning:
Do not pay through agents or personal accounts. Any such transaction is at your own risk.

- Opens: Monday, 26 May 2025
- Closes: Thursday, 19 June 2025
Interview Phases
Screening interviews will be held in four stages:
- Phase 1: Monday 26 May – Thursday 29 May
- Phase 2: Monday 2 June – Thursday 5 June
- Phase 3: Monday 9 June – Thursday 12 June
- Phase 4: Monday 16 June – Thursday 19 June
You’ll be assigned a phase and venue based on your local government area.
Interview Venues by Division
- Ikeja: Sociology Class, opposite Health Centre
- Badagry: New TETFund Building, Faculty of Education
- Ikorodu: Law Clinic, Faculty of Law
- Lagos Island/Mainland: International Business Class, MBA Building
- Epe: School of Transport and Logistics
Arrive early—Lagos traffic won’t wait, and neither will the screening committee.

Passing this verification does not guarantee admission. It only confirms your Lagos origin. You must still meet all other LASU admission criteria.
