MAUTECH Bans Sign-out Celebration 2025

The management of Modibbo Adama University of Technology (MAUTECH), Yola, has officially banned the popular "sign-out" celebration on campus.
Reasons for the Ban:
- The university says the event violates school rules and regulations.
- Both Federal and State Governments have also banned such activities in schools.
- Degrees are awarded based on good learning and character, and sign-out parties do not reflect this.
Warning to Students:
- Any student caught organizing or participating in a sign-out celebration will face disciplinary action.
- The school security unit and DSS have been informed to enforce this rule.
Graduating students are advised to celebrate their achievements responsibly and in line with university regulations.
