The Murtala Muhammed Foundation, in partnership with the Africa Science Academy, invites applications for its fully funded scholarship programme.
This initiative supports African women pursuing degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) at universities across Africa.
Scholarship Benefits
The scholarship provides the following:
- Full tuition fees for a four-year undergraduate degree.
- On-campus accommodation.
- Living expenses.
- Comprehensive medical insurance.
- Annual paid internship opportunities.
- Mentorship from STEM professionals.
- Annual participation in a leadership summer school.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be female African citizens aged 16โ19 years.
- Have completed secondary school (IGCSEs, O-Level, or equivalent) by July 2024.
- Achieve a grade of A or B in Physics and Mathematics in WAEC or equivalent exams.
- Show a strong interest and aptitude in STEM fields.
