Nigerian Agip Exploration (NAE), in partnership with NNPC Limited, is offering postgraduate scholarships for the 2025/2026 academic year. Applicants can choose to study in Nigeria or overseas in selected fields.
Two Study Options
- Local Award: For study at any approved Nigerian university
- Overseas Award: For study at a recognized university outside Nigeria
You must choose only one path and meet the stated conditions.
Eligible Courses
You must already have admission into a one-year Master's programme in one of these areas:
- Geosciences
- Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Civil, Subsea, Electrical, Marine, Chemical, Offshore, Environmental, Renewable)
- Petroleum Economics
- Law (Oil & Gas, Petroleum)
Who Can Apply
Applicants must:
- Hold a Second-Class Upper degree from a Nigerian university
- Be 28 years or younger by December 2025
- Have NYSC discharge certificate
- Have a valid international passport (for overseas applicants)
- Already have admission into a relevant programme
Important Notes
- Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for a test via SMS and email
- Past recipients of NAE or partner scholarships cannot apply
- NAE staff and their dependents are not eligible
