Scholarship Opportunity for Host Communities
The Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) has launched a special edition of the NLNG Undergraduate Scholarship Scheme (UGSS) for students from its host communities, celebrating 35 years of incorporation and 25 years of operations in Nigeria. This scholarship supports exceptional students from NLNG host communities, helping them complete their undergraduate studies at public universities in Nigeria.

Requirements for the NLNG Undergraduate Scholarship Scheme


To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be a Nigerian citizen from an NLNG host community.
- Be enrolled in a federal or state-owned university in Nigeria.
- Have a minimum of five O-Level credits, including Mathematics and English, in one sitting.
- Score at least 200 in the UTME exam.
- Be a full-time undergraduate in Engineering, Computer Science, Environmental or Geo-sciences.
- Maintain a CGPA of at least 3.5 on a 5.0 scale (or 3.0 on a 4.0 scale).
- Be between 18 and 25 years old.
- Not hold another scholarship, bursary, or grant from any organization.
- Not be related to NLNG staff.
- Present a valid ID letter from the host community and Local Government Council.

How to Apply for the NLNG Scholarship


Prepare the following documents for upload:
- Recent passport photo with a white background (450px by 450px, max 200kb).
- O-Level and UTME results.
- University and JAMB admission letters.
- University student ID card.
- Birth certificate from the National Population Commission.
- Local Government Area identification letter.
- National ID Number (NIN) slip.
- Complete academic transcripts signed by the university’s registry or exams unit.
- Community ID letter signed by the CDC Chairman or local ruler.

Steps to Apply


1. Visit the NLNG UGSS Application Portal.

2. Register an account using your email.
3. Activate the account via the link sent to your email.
4. Log in and fill in personal, educational, and other required details.
5. Upload all necessary documents.
6. Check that names on the application match all documents.
7. Upload a passport photo with a white background.
8. Review the application for errors.
9. Click “Apply Now” to submit the application.
10. An email confirmation will be sent after submission.

Applicants must use a personal email for creating a Scholastica account.
