The National Universities Commission (NUC) has granted approval for five degree programmes to be offered at Federal Polytechnic Bauchi (FPTB) in partnership with the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID).

The newly approved degree programmes are:

- BSc Accounting
- BSc Business Administration
- BSc Banking and Finance
- BSc Public Administration
