The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has explained the reasons behind the delays being encountered by prospective corps members currently registering for the 2025 Batch C orientation programme.
Many applicants have complained about difficulties completing their online registration, with the process taking longer than usual. The management of the Scheme has attributed the problem to temporary network interruptions affecting its registration portal.
In a statement issued by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, the NYSC expressed regret over the challenges faced by prospective corps members and assured them that efforts were ongoing to restore full functionality.
โThe NYSC management wishes to apologize to all Prospective Corps Members who have experienced delays during the registration exercise. Our technical team is actively addressing the network issues to ensure that everyone completes their registration without further stress,โ the statement said.
To accommodate those affected by the disruption, the registration window has been extended by an additional 48 hours. The new closing date is midnight, Tuesday, November 11, 2025.
The Scheme urged applicants to remain patient and avoid panic, noting that every qualified candidate will be able to complete the process once the network stabilizes.
