PAAU Post-UTME/DE 2025: Cut-off Mark, Eligibility, Registration Details

Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba (PAAU), formerly known as Kogi State University, has announced the commencement of Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) online screening for the 2025/2026 academic session. This online approach is to reduce the financial burden and risks of traveling for physical screening.
Registration Period:
- Starts: Monday, August 4th, 2025
- Ends: Friday, September 5th, 2025
- Screening fee: ₦2,000
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must have chosen PAAU as First Choice Institution in UTME or DE application
- UTME candidates must score 150 and above
- Candidates must possess at least five (5) O’Level credit passes relevant to their chosen course
- Direct Entry candidates must possess a minimum of Upper Credit, Merit or recognized A-level qualifications
- Correct subject combination in UTME is mandatory
- Candidates must upload O’Level results on JAMB CAPS
Screening Method:
- UTME candidates will be screened based on 70% UTME score and 30% O’Level results
- DE candidates’ A’Level results will be verified through NIPEDS via JAMB e-facility
- Screening is fully online and no physical appearance is required
- Awaiting result candidates can apply, but must upload results immediately upon release
Registration Procedure:
1. Visit https://eportal.paau.edu.ng/ug/candidate
2. Fill in required information including correct O’Level details (exam number, type, date, scratch card PIN)
3. Make payment online using ATM card or bank transfer
4. Preview and confirm details before submitting
5. Monitor your status on both JAMB CAPS and PAAU portal
Important Warnings:
- Any candidate involved in admission malpractice (e.g ., result falsification, double admission) will face automatic disqualification and possible prosecution
- O’Level result upload on JAMB CAPS is mandatory—no admission without it
