The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced that the technical issues affecting the release of the 2025 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) results for School Candidates have been fully resolved.
All candidates are advised to recheck their results, as the fix is expected to affect every previously released WAEC result. Following a thorough review and correction process, candidates can now access their complete and accurate results without any disruption on the WAEC result checker portal.
WAEC also revealed that, after the resolution of the issues, the pass rate has improved significantly – 62.9% of candidates obtained credit and above in a minimum of five subjects, including both English Language and Mathematics.
The Council expressed its appreciation to candidates, parents, and other stakeholders for their patience and understanding during the review period.
How to Recheck Your 2025 WASSCE Results
- Visit: https://www.waecdirect.org/
- Enter your Examination Number
- Select Examination Year: 2025
- Select Examination Type: SCHOOL CANDIDATES
- Enter your PIN and Serial Number
- Click Submit to view your results
Note:
- Each result checker PIN can only be used 5 times.
- If you exhaust your usage, you will need to purchase a new PIN, which currently costs around ₦3,500.
