The University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) has announced the schedule for the Matriculation Ceremony for all first-year students for the 2024/2025 academic session. Below are the details:
Ceremony Dates and Venues:
- Calabar Campus: Thursday, December 12, 2024
- Ogoja & Okuku Campuses: Friday, December 13, 2024
Key Requirements for Participation:
1. Mandatory Fee Payment
All newly admitted students must pay their school fees and the matriculation fee in full before the ceremony.
2. Matriculation Register
Students who fail to meet the fee requirements will not be listed in the matriculation register and will forfeit their admission.
3. Deadline for Fee Payment
No late payments will be accepted after the matriculation ceremony.
4. Additional Instructions:
- Complete registration and documentation with respective departments and faculties.
- Collect matriculation gowns by presenting proof of full fee payment.
- Return gowns within two days after the ceremony to avoid a late-return fee of ₦2,000/day.
5. Code of Conduct
All matriculating students must exhibit proper decorum during the event. Misconduct will result in disciplinary action.
