2024/2025 Screening/Registration Exercise for Newly Admitted Candidates
The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has released the registration schedule and procedures for newly admitted UTME and DIRECT ENTRY candidates. The exercise will take place in two phases:
- Phase 1: Monday, December 2 – Friday, December 20, 2024
- Phase 2: Monday, January 6 – Friday, January 24, 2025
Registration Procedures
Stage 1: Registration Schedule/Appointment
1. Visit UNILAG Student Portal.
2. Log in using:
- Username: JAMB Number/Application Number
- Password: Surname in lowercase
3. Update your password upon first login.
4. On the portal:
- Select “Appointment” under the menu.
- Choose “New Appointment.”
- Select the appointment type, date, and session for your faculty.
- Schedule the appointment and print the booking slip.
5. Note: Present the printed slip at the registration venue.
Stage 2: Uploading of Documents
1. Log in to the UNILAG Student Portal via www.unilag.edu.ng .
2. Navigate to Admissions > Screening 2024/2025.
3. Complete the bio-data form and print the Screening Form.
4. Upload the following original documents:
- JAMB Admission Letter
- O’Level Result
- Secondary School Testimonial
- Birth Certificate
- State of Origin Certificate
- Letter of Reference (addressed to The Registrar)
- Previous Degree Certificate (DIRECT Entry candidates only)
Stage 3: Screening
1. Attend the registration venue on your scheduled date.
2. Submit two copies each of:
- Screening Form
- JAMB Admission Letter (Institution Copy)
- UTME/Post-UTME Result Slip (for UTME candidates)
- JUPEB/A-LEVEL/OND/HND/BSc Result Slip (DIRECT Entry only)
- O’Level Result Certificate (online results are not accepted)
- Letter of Reference (original copy)
- Birth Certificate
- Secondary School Testimonial
- State of Origin Certificate
- Passport Photographs (12 copies, with names on the reverse side)
3. Present original credentials for sighting.
Stage 4: Payment of Fees
1. Generate Payment Advice 24 hours after Stage 3.
2. Pay the required fees at any bank.
Stage 5: Faculty/Departmental Registration
Proceed to your faculty and department for further registration processes.
Important Notices
- Impersonation: Strictly prohibited and punishable by admission forfeiture or legal action.
- Drug Test: Mandatory drug testing will be conducted. Students testing positive or failing to attend will lose their admission.
- The matriculation ceremony and orientation program dates will be announced later.
