UNILAG appoints Professor Oremosu as College of medicine Provost
Professor Ademola Ayodele Oremosu, of the Department of Anatomy, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, College of Medicine, University of Lagos (CMUL) will, on Thursday, January 2, 2025, assume office as the 16th Provost of the College.
He takes over from Professor David Adewale Oke whose tenure ends on Tuesday, December 31, 2024.
The University Governing Council at its Special meeting on Thursday, December 5, 2024 received and considered the report of the election and consequently approved the appointment.
Professor Ademola Oremosu’s appointment is for a term of two (2) years which ends on Thursday, December 31, 2026.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Folasade Ogunsola, OON, FAS, on behalf of University of Lagos (UNILAG) Senate, Management, Staff and Students, congratulates Professor Ademola Ayodele Oremosu on his appointment and wishes him a successful tenure.
