UNILAG Notice To Students On ID Card Upload

The management of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has issued an important notice to all students regarding the re-upload of ID card information.
All students who uploaded or re-uploaded their information on the University ID Card portal between Wednesday, August 20, and the morning of Friday, August 22, 2025, are required to re-upload a clear passport photograph and signature on the portal: https://studentid.unilag.edu.ng
Students must ensure that both their photograph and signature are clearly displayed on the portal before clicking submit. The deadline for this re-upload is Sunday, August 31, 2025, by 11:59 p.m .
Important Information
- Students who have not uploaded their passport photographs and signatures previously are also advised to complete the process.
- Photographs must be taken against a white background. Any other background will render the ID card invalid.
- Clear and legible signatures must be uploaded.
Eligible Categories
1. All newly admitted students for the 2024/2025 academic session.
2. Students in Year 2, 3, 4, or 5 who have not yet collected their ID cards and have formally written to the Academic Affairs Unit.
3. Students who lost or misplaced their ID cards, provided they have submitted proof of payment for replacement and a valid Police Report.
Final Reminder
The closing date for all uploads remains 11:59 p.m ., Sunday, August 31, 2025. Students are strongly advised to comply in order to avoid delays in processing their University ID cards.
