The University of Canberra is offering a limited number of Research Scholarships for highly qualified students to undertake full-time Higher Degree by Research (HDR) programs. These scholarships are extremely competitive, with selection based on academic performance, research potential, proposal quality, and strategic priorities.
Eligibility:
- Domestic students (Australian citizens, permanent residents, and New Zealand citizens)
- International students
- Current UC PhD candidates (with less than 2 years & confirmed candidature)
- Indigenous Australian applicants
- Applicants with First-Class Honours or a Master’s degree (minimum 25% research and 80% score)
- Candidates under the National Industry PhD Program – Industry Linked Stream
Scholarship Value:
- AUD $36,225 annual tax-free stipend (2025 rate)
- Tuition fee sponsorship for international students
- Back-payment of stipend for approved offshore commencement
- Research support and expert supervision
