WAEC 2024 May/June SSCE Results Out

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has published the 2024 results for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for School Candidates. Dr. Amos Dangut, the Head of WAEC's Nigeria Office, made this announcement.
Dr. Dangut reported that out of the 1,805,216 students who took the exam, 1,332,089 achieved credits in five subjects, including at least one subject paired with either Mathematics or English language. Meanwhile, 1,301,949 candidates earned credits in five subjects, specifically including both Mathematics and English language. This accounts for 72.9% of all test-takers.
This year’s outcomes show a 7.6% decline in performance when compared to the 2023 WASSCE.
In addition, results for 215,267 candidates have been withheld due to suspicions of exam malpractice, which represents 11.92% of the total examinees.
To view your results, follow these steps:
1. Go to https://www.waecdirect.org/
2. Enter your Examination Number
3. Set the Examination Year to 2024
4. Select "SCHOOL CANDIDATES RESULT" as the Exam Type
5. Enter your PIN and Serial Number
6. Click Submit to access your results.
